Santiago Sares (Buenos Aires, 1991) is a digital artist exploring the intersection of the human psyche and intelligent systems. Through his Quantum Consciousness and Generative Emotions frameworks, he investigates the mind to rediscover human nature.
Using a Data Poetics process that combines artificial intelligence, biometric data, 3D environments, and generative art, Sares transforms abstract data into a vital pulse of understanding. His work examines emotion, identity, and consciousness fragmentation, using technology to reveal truths that define us as systems reshape perception.
With over a decade of international practice, Sares has developed a distinguished record of residencies and exhibitions across Italy, the United States, China, Canada, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Argentina, Portugal, France, Estonia, and Spain.
His philosophy views chaos as a creative catalyst, finding order in disorder through AIReflections — immersive experiences that suspend time to confront the present's paradox. By merging classical aesthetic grandeur with digital synthesis, he redefines AI as a vehicle for conscious intention, leaving traces of purpose in a world dominated by automation.
For Santiago Sares, working with artificial intelligence is an act of direction and redefinition — a space where intention imposes form on computation, transforming the algorithm into a declaration of will. In this framework, truth is not a matter of realism but of authorship: in an era where the boundary between the factual and the fictional dissolves, art becomes testimony, a trace of pure purpose in a landscape governed by automation.
“Sares’ practice seeks the unity of opposites to rediscover the essence of being, building a reflective territory where emotion, memory, and identity converge, allowing the Self to emerge amidst the dense noise of contemporary existence.”

An immersive experience where human and machine enter into dialogue using the Sensus System — a custom biometric platform developed specifically for this piece. Through an EEG device worn by the participant, brainwaves are captured and interpreted in real time by an AI classification system trained on five emotional states: focus, calm, excitement, frustration, and neutral. The detected emotional state drives the generative visual system, activating and transforming the piece so that each participant produces a unique version of the artwork. The result is a living data sculpture that materialises the invisible architecture of the human mind, making consciousness visible as form.
Developed with technical support from the NotSociety team. The system integrates a custom EEG pipeline with a real-time TouchDesigner environment and a machine learning classifier trained on biometric session data. Curated by Marianella Baladán and Natalia Uccello as part of Rituales Tecnológicos II at Palacio Libertad, Buenos Aires, Argentina, 2025–2026. The installation occupied the immersive room on the second floor of the venue, running continuous sessions across both editions of the show.
